Account Manager

As an Account Manager, you will drive the client's narrative through all stages of their lifecycle, bridging the gap between the client's needs and our team's storytelling expertise. As the main point of contact for your client roster, you will ensure their satisfaction and successful journey with 6th Ave Storytelling, while driving the overarching strategy for the client's project, and work cross-functionally with our Creative Studio to execute all work.

COMPENSATION

Full Time: $75-85k depending on level of experience

REQUIREMENTS

  • Key Responsibilities:

    Client Relationship Management:

    • Serve as the face of 6th Ave Storytelling for your clients, enchanting them and building long-lasting relationships.

    • Oversee and maintain the contracting and onboarding process as well as administrative organization with Operations support.

    • Manage creative client reviews of all collateral.

    Campaign Oversight:

    • Oversee the development and implementation of strategic marketing collateral across all assigned client projects.

    • Ensuring projects are completed to a specific schedule, within an agreed budget, and that superior customer service is provided.

    • Guide the storytelling process throughout the client lifecycle.

    • Communicate key results, progress updates, and outcomes to clients.

    • Up to date on the latest industry trends; able to articulate trends and potential clearly and confidently

    Client Satisfaction & Retention:

    • Proactively address client concerns.

    • Ensure clients' journeys with 6th Ave consistently exceed expectations.

    Cross-functional Collaboration:

    • Collaborate effectively with internal teams.

    • Facilitate workflows alongside operations and project management support.

    • Full awareness of creative processes and techniques – including digital platforms

    • Shepard internal timelines and client timelines

    • Day to day logistics support and project management with select clients

    • Quality control over content and media

    Reporting & KPI tracking:

    • Maintain company scorecard metrics as assigned to create visibility to leadership

    • Provide regular KPI tracking results for clients with ongoing retainers, engaging with their teams to track the correct KPI’s to report on growth and ROI.

  • Preferred Skills & Competencies:

  • Account Management and Customer Relationship Management

    • 7+ years of successful account management and customer relationship management experience in a creative firm, such as marketing, production, or public relations

    • Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and internal stakeholders

    • Good at anticipating customers’ needs and analyzing trends for future opportunities

    • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for a variety of audiences.

    • Ability to negotiate and resolve conflicts with clients through de-escalation strategies.

    Strategic Marketing and Storytelling

    • Strong understanding of strategic marketing principles and best practices

    • Proficiency in writing creative briefs that relay the key marketing + strategic objectives for that campaign's vision while showing due diligence in communicating client requirements.

    • Ability to develop and execute effective marketing campaigns across an omnichannel portfolio

    • Proficiency in storytelling and content creation, and experience with StoryBrand is a plus.

    • Experience with digital marketing channels and social media

    • Proven track record of tracking measurable marketing results

    • Strong time management and organizational skills

    • Ability to multi-task and prioritize effectively

    • Ability to meet deadlines and deliver results under pressure

    • Ability to make sound decisions in a timely manner with autonomy and ownership over results.

    • Ability to collaborate with many different personalities and communication styles

    • Strong problem-solving skills utilizing creative thinking, logical decision-making, and empathetic listening.

    • Ability to take the perspective of others into consideration from a tactical and strategic viewpoint.

    • Strong work ethic and commitment to excellence

    Additional Preferred Skills:

    • Background in social media management, photography/videography experience, or copywriting.

    • Experience with Wrike is a plus.

    • Portfolio of previous working samples and KPI tracking

    • Experience ticketing work into a creative studio alongside Project Management support.

    • Experience with contract management including writing assumptions, exemptions, and adjusting boilerplate language per redline requests.
