On episode #1 of Stories with Soul, Jamey Ice and Jimmy Williams interview...each other! They’ve been best friends since high school and are now neighbors and co-founders of multiple businesses. Jimmy explains how Jamey’s marketing sparked their friendship, and Jamey shares that starting this podcast has been a dream for a while.
On every episode, they’ll interview entrepreneurs, artists, and leaders in their hometown of Fort Worth. Jimmy’s excited to get into the nitty-gritty of each journey, and Jamey can’t wait to hear the lessons and wins — part How I Built This and part The Tim Ferriss Show.
You’ll hear how their first historic home restoration quickly turned into renovating for neighbors and eventually led to the founding of 6th Ave Homes. But technically the whole time they were actually a marketing company, so 30 days into the Covid-19 era, they made it official by establishing 6th Ave Storytelling. They’re both excited to support small businesses by sharing their stories, because they believe when a small business thrives in a city, the whole city prospers.
