Wilks Development

Wilks Development revitalized the historic Fort Worth Public Market, once a bustling hub for farmers and vendors, now reborn as a vibrant community space for active seniors. In 2015, inspired by a family legacy of craftsmanship, Kyle Wilks and Jess Green embarked on the project to honor its past while meeting modern needs. Today, The Public Market offers luxury amenities and personalized care within its historic walls, fostering a vibrant community where residents can engage in cultural events, recreational activities, and meaningful connections. Wilks Development's dedication has transformed the market into a welcoming home for seniors in Fort Worth.

Our Partnership

Our partnership with Wilks Development began by branding the Public Market Project and the Harden Senior Living Complex. We documented these historic redevelopment projects through photography and storytelling, helping with press coverage and sharing their narratives. This success led to collaboration on marketing for other Wilks Development projects like Willow Park. We provided language, strategy, and social media services, documenting the Public Market's transformation and other construction projects. We also partnered with Historic Fort Worth to preserve the market's history.

Brand Identity for The Harden at The Public Market

Content Creation

The Harden

Located in Fort Worth's historic Public Market, The Harden represents restoration and community revitalization. Originally a bustling market in 1930, it fell into disuse during the Great Depression until Wilks Development transformed it in 2015 into a vibrant living community for active seniors. Named after the market's original developer, John J. Harden, The Harden blends historic charm with modern comfort, offering seniors a dynamic environment surrounded by museums, hospitals, and cultural hubs. This community fosters a sense of belonging and purpose, empowering residents to lead fulfilling lives in Fort Worth.

The Shops at Willow Park

The Shops at Willow Park, developed by Wilks Development, embody the vision of brothers Kyle and Josh Wilks and their cousin Jess Green. They aimed to create a master-planned community along the Clearfork River, blending homes, shops, and outdoor spaces. Willow Park emerged as a quality-driven development fostering a sense of belonging. Engaging with local residents, the Wilks team built deep community connections. Willow Park North features durable homes, scenic trails, parks, and local shops. The Shops at Willow Park reflect small-town values and genuine community connections.

Story Language & Roadmap

At 6th Ave Storytelling, the Storytelling Roadmap serves as the essential cornerstone of our marketing framework and the starting point for every brand's journey. This robust 80+ page document is packed with strategy, language, and personalized recommendations that will shape how you share your company with the world for years to come. It combines two powerful components: the Story Language and the Marketing Roadmap.

Story Language

A meticulously curated bank of copy tailored to resonate with your ideal customer. This consistent and compelling language serves as the bedrock of your messaging, helping to build trust and alignment with your audience.

Marketing Roadmap

Your personalized map to navigate your business's marketing, making story the driving force behind it. It includes a clear vision, strategic action plan, and detailed roadmap for your team or trusted agency to execute.

Website Strategy

Building a StorySite

How do you make a website that will actually deliver results? Most ad agencies and marketing firms treat websites like an encyclopedia of facts, information, and history that do nothing for the customer. Your customer doesn’t care about how much you’ve sold, how many awards you’ve won, or the life story of your grandpa who started the company. They care about how your product or service will impact their life.

Websites with Soul

At 6th Ave Storytelling, we build ours as funnels designed to take viewers on a journey from curiosity to action. This customer-centric, story-based journey is presenting all the marketing materials we create, designed to grab someone’s attention and inspire them to act.
