Chef Tim Love : Chef and Restaurateur

Chef Tim Love is an entrepreneur, Texas Native, celebrity chef, and owner of restaurants from Seattle to Knoxville including the highly accoladed Lonesome Dove Bistro. 

Born in Denton, Texas, Tim grew up on a farm in Cookeville, Tennessee where he learned how to raise and butcher animals and cultivate and pick delicious vegetables. Little did he know, this experience would serve as the foundation for his career as a renowned chef and restaurateur.

Chef Tim started out on the salad line at Kiva Grill, but within a year he was running the entire kitchen. Right then, he knew he’d found his passion. Tim constantly arrived to work early and stayed late, sometimes even working without pay just so he could learn more. From an early age, Tim was driven, able to see new ideas and bring them to fruition. His dream was to own one restaurant, and now he has over 18 different concepts. Always pushing the limit, at Caterina’s, Tim’s Italian restaurant in Fort Worth, cell phones are not allowed during the meal. Inspired by Italian culture around meal times, Tim wanted a slow dining experience for his guests that allowed for connection and conversation. 

It is evident that Chef Tim Love has  a deep respect for his team. He shares the values that drive him along with his belief that those who contribute to success should also benefit from it. With a tenacious spirit, a kind heart, and a willingness to test out new ideas, Chef Tim Love has perfected the process of creating   a heartwarming environment, a delicious meal, and an innovative experience.
