Episode 13: Nancy Lamb
Growing up in a big family, Nancy Lamb learned very young that she enjoyed entertaining other people. For as long as she can remember, she’s been creating art and loving it, even when a piece drives her a little crazy. At the young age of twelve, she received her first commission and felt like a true professional. By eighteen, she had multiple patrons and from there, the rest is history.
Nancy Lamb understands the power of self-fulfilling prophecies, positivity, and that life is all about how you deal with what has happened to you. Throughout her many years creating, Nancy practices bravery and pushing the limits by challenging herself and her art. Knowing that art shapes cities, communities, and cultures, she spent many hours teaching kids how to create beauty. It was an opportunity to give back, but also Nancy shares how she learned more from the kids than she ever taught.
Take a moment to listen and be inspired by this enthusiastic and empathetic artist who has worked hard, chased her dreams, and used her talents to bless those around her. Plus, you won’t want to miss hearing how Nancy Lamb created a headstone for someone.
